The SL179 lift-and-slide system has two tracks, allowing for the choice between a two-pane door or a four-pane door.

Configurations

• The two-pane option features one fixed panel and one sliding panel moving either to the left or the right.
• The four-pane configuration sees the two central panels sliding, one to each side.

The image shows the configuration options of the doors when viewed from the inside. The top half of the image shows the configurations for the Classic SL179 that has an overall depth of 212mm, while the bottom half shows the SKYplus version (which has more glass and no fixed sash) with an overall depth of 223mm.

Size of opening

The panel dimensions as well as the chosen configuration affects the size of the aperture left free of glass when all the doors are open. The opening width is up to 4.3 metres, with a total width of up to 9 metres for the four-pane door.
