The structural glazing effect and greater transparency is achieved by making the forend almost completely invisible. The top and bottom sight lines on the panel profile are only 15 mm wide each and the vertical only 2 mm. And, as with the whole range, the Cero IV's frame can be set flush into the ceiling to allow the frame and profiles to disappear almost entirely from view.

Yes, size can affect U-values. Simply put: the bigger your Cero IV doors, the better the thermal efficiency!

Thsi is because aluminium is a greater conductor of heat than glass. The Cero IV's almost imperceptible aluminium frame mean that very little heat is lost through the metal. And the high performance triple glazing ensures very low levels of heat transfer through the glass.

So the larger the glass ratio is to the aluminium, the lower the U-value. This means that you can reach passive standards with the largest dimensions of the Cero IV.

Yes, a pocket door will allow for a 100% opening. This is when the doors slide into a cavity within the wall, hiding them away completely.

Without a pocket doors, the Cero IV will leave 50% of the aperture open on a twin track, and 66% on a triple track.
