Ecoline FAQs

The Solarlux range of bi-folding doors is a thermally-insulated system with products ranging in overall Uw values - and the Ecoline has a Uw value of 1.1 W/m²K. U-values show how much heat is transferred through a door or window. The lower the U value, the more successful it is at keeping heat inside and cold outside.

There are many reasons why Solarlux bi-folds are so thermally efficient, from the advanced technology and high performance glazing to the unique, patented feeatures such as the bionicTURTLE®, pictured here, a multi-functional break profile housing the locking mechanism and fittings that create the outstanding insulation properties of the bi-fold door range. As standard, we also use special fixing brackets which spread the weight of the fixing onto the frame across the thermal break.

The Ecoline can be specified in a wide range of colours, including 30 different shades from the main collection (pictured). Qualicoat Seaside paint is as standard, but other treatments can be applied if required, such as pre-anodisation for added resistance to corrosion in coastal or high altitude properties.

You can also combine your Ecoline bi-folds with other glazed elements including fixed windows, tilt-and-turn panels and sliding doors, all in matching colours.
